Dr. Jhodie Duncan is the General Manager of Research and Partnerships at Latrobe Regional Health. She has over 20 year’s research experience having completed her PhD (Uni Melb) in the field of Developmental Neuroscience, after which she was awarded a CJ Martin Fellowship to undertake post-doctoral training at Boston’s Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. In 2009 Jhodie received a Future Fellowship and ARC grant to work at the Florey Institute in the field of addiction neuroscience and act as lab head for the “adolescent inhalant abuse” laboratory. Jhodie joined the team at LRH in 2020 and has vast experience in both pre- and clinical research, supervising students, leadership, and mentoring and provides oversite to a growing Research Unit. Her accolades include over 50 publications, presentation of 40 seminars and contribution to the activation of over 30 clinical trials including several under the teletrial model at Latrobe Regional Health via the development of strong trial foundations and collaborative partnerships.
