Kristi Robertson, Esq. is Senior Director, Clinical Trial Foundations, Community-Based Research Integration at Eli Lilly and Company. In this role, she leads efforts to embed community-based capabilities into clinical trial design and execution, helping ensure research is more inclusive and accessible to patients in real-world settings. She works across functions to integrate regulatory strategy, stakeholder engagement, communications, and strategic metrics—supporting both U.S. and global implementation.
Since joining Lilly in 2018, Kristi has held leadership roles across multiple functions. Her past work includes directing Lilly USA’s contract development for Value-Based Arrangements, leading environment shaping efforts for the Oncology portfolio, and serving in regulatory policy, where she spearheaded initiatives related to Clinical Trial Modernization, Community-Based Research, Clinical Trial Diversity, and Pediatric Clinical Trials.
Kristi began her career in the private practice of law, representing healthcare providers and institutions across a wide range of legal matters. She brings deep expertise at the intersection of healthcare law, regulatory policy, and innovation in clinical development, with a strong focus on reducing patient burden and expanding access to research through site and community partnerships.
She holds a J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Outside of work, Kristi enjoys boating, cooking, pilates, and chasing her 15-month-old twin daughters, Lily and Olivia, with her husband, Tom.
