Laura Maffei is an endocrinologist and clinical researcher with a long, distinguished career, and a leading figure in her field both nationally and internationally. She is the Director of Maffei Centro Médico e Investigación Clínica Aplicada.
She is an Adjunct Faculty member in Endocrinology at the Instituto Universitario del CEMIC and a member of the Argentine Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism and the Endocrine Society. Throughout her career she has conducted research in Argentina and abroad, with a particular interest in metabolism, stress, and psychoneuroendocrinology.
She is the author of the book Alicia en el país del estrés (Alice in the Land of Stress).
