Lauren is a healthcare industry executive and one of the driving forces behind the growth of Headlands Research, a leading clinical trial site network. Hired as the company’s first employee in 2018, Lauren has help scale the organization from a single-site startup into a network of 27 research centers across the U.S. and Canada, with more than 650 employees. Along the way, she’s guided the company through a major ownership transition, from KKR to THL Partners.
With more than a decade in clinical research and a background in financial services, Lauren brings a rare combination of relationship-building instinct and financial fluency to the sponsor, CRO, and site network landscape. Her work spans business development, M&A, operations, de novo site development and strategic partnerships, giving her a 360-degree view of what it takes to build trusted, high-performing site networks.
Lauren is a regular speaker at SCOPE, SCRS and ACRP, where she speaks on site network growth, diversity in clinical trials, private equity engagement and partnerships as well as business development strategy.
Lauren holds a BS in Finance and Marketing from Lehigh University and an MBA from the University of Florida. She serves on the boards of the International Women’s Forum Arizona Chapter and the Phoenix Conservatory of Music. Outside of work, she’s a mother of two, an avid hiker and a four-time marathon finisher.
