Lawrence Matarutse is the founding President & CEO of Northshore Research Associates, a growing multisite clinical research network committed to expanding access to innovative therapies across Louisiana’s underserved and rural communities.
With more than 20 years of clinical research experience, Lawrence has led research operations across academic medical centers, community hospitals, and independent research sites. His expertise includes multisite operations, regulatory compliance, sponsor and CRO partnerships, contract and budget negotiations, quality oversight, patient recruitment, and clinical research team development.
Under his leadership, Northshore Research Associates has grown into a six-site network supported by experienced investigators and certified research professionals across multiple therapeutic areas. Lawrence’s vision is to build a high-performing, community-based research network that delivers strong enrollment, reliable participant retention, high-quality data, and efficient study execution while ensuring that diverse populations have meaningful opportunities to participate in clinical trials.
