Mariel Peitiado is a pharmacist who graduated in 1993 from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and extensive expertise in clinical trials. She is currently based in Argentina.
She began her career in the pharmaceutical industry, and after working primarily in regulatory affairs and quality control, including a scholarship at the local Ministry of Health, she joined Quintiles in 2001 to establish the Quality Assurance department for Latin America.
In January 2011, she became the Director of Clinical Operations for Argentina. After managing various countries in Latin America, including Clinical and Regulatory & Start-up Teams, in May 2020, she became the Latin America Regional Head of Clinical FSP and GSM for IQVIA.
As of May 2023, she is the President of CAOIC (Argentina CRO’s Association).
