Mike Stratton is a seasoned leader in the clinical research industry, known for driving innovation in global patient recruitment and retention. As President of CSSi, Mike has led the company through a transformative era—modernizing operations, expanding global capabilities, and introducing cutting-edge, site-first enrollment solutions that meet the complex needs of today’s trials.
Prior to joining CSSi, Mike spent over a decade at PPD and their subsidiaries, where he led global patient recruitment and retention strategies across multiple therapeutic areas. His work helped shape PPD’s approach to patient-centric delivery models and fueled enrollment success for some of the most demanding Phase II–IV trials worldwide.
Mike also held senior roles at Acurian and AES, where he focused on scaling centralized recruitment, improving site engagement models, and leveraging data-driven outreach. His multi-channel strategies and operational foresight have consistently advanced enrollment timelines and improved diversity in trial populations.
With more than 15 years of experience spanning the CRO, and vendor-side perspectives, Mike brings a unique, strategic lens to patient recruitment. He is passionate about reimagining how patients access clinical research, and how sites are supported in delivering care through clinical trials.
