Dr My‑Nhan Nguyen is Deputy Director of Research at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, where she supports the Director of Research in providing strategic and operational leadership across research governance, ethics, and research facilitation. Since joining St Vincent’s in 2021, she has held multiple roles across St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and St Vincent’s Health Australia, leading major organisation‑wide research initiatives.
My-Nhan has driven implementation of the SVHA Research Strategy, developed performance reporting and research governance policies and frameworks, and supported St Vincent’s hospitals to achieve compliance with the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework. Her work has strengthened research governance, capability, and consistency across the organisation.
Previously, My-Nhan was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Oxford, where she led translational cardiovascular research supported by the British Heart Foundation. With experience spanning academic research and health research management, she is committed to advancing research excellence and enabling the translation of research into meaningful clinical impact.
