Nathan Clunas is Area Head, Clinical Site Management – Europe, Middle East & Africa and Site Head at AbbVie Schaffhausen GmbH, Switzerland.
Preceding this, Nathan was Associate Vice President & Medical Head, International at Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, based in Singapore. Nathan joined Allergan from Shire, where he worked as Global Franchise Medical Lead, Ophthalmology based in Switzerland. Prior to this, Nathan was with Novartis Pharma in Australia and Switzerland for over eight years, his final role held was Regional Franchise Medical Head based in Basel.
Nathan has a PhD in Medicine (Psychiatry) and is a qualified orthoptist. He commenced his career in ophthalmology clinics in Sydney, Australia then lectured at The University of Sydney. Nathan started his career in the pharmaceutical industry as a Clinical Research Associate at Abbott Pharmaceuticals.
