Rebecca Cargill is a senior clinical operations leader with over 20 years of experience delivering complex clinical trials and cross functional programs across Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific region. She is currently Senior Manager, Clinical Operations at Johnson & Johnson, where she is accountable for successful country execution of clinical trials, including resourcing, timelines, budgets, quality, and compliance with SOPs, health care compliance, and local regulatory requirements.
Rebecca has held senior study leadership and regional/global operations roles across leading biopharmaceutical organisations, supporting trials from feasibility through close out. Her experience spans multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology, diabetes, neuroscience, infectious disease, rare disease, dermatology, and cardiovascular disease. She has led multidisciplinary teams across local, regional, and global settings and is recognised for driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and strong cross functional collaboration.
With a background in Asia Pacific R&D strategy, transformation, and clinical operations leadership, Rebecca brings a practical, end to end perspective on drug development and trial delivery. She is passionate about developing high performing teams, strengthening trial execution, and improving patient outcomes.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Sydney, and a Diploma in Clinical Neurophysiology from RMIT.
