Stacie Merritt currently serves as the Director of the Ascension St. John Clinical Research Institute, Tulsa, OK. She earned a Master’s in the Science of Nursing from the University of Oklahoma where she graduated with honors. Mrs. Merritt has been awarded two national certifications. Throughout her career, Mrs. Merritt has participated as a sub-investigator in numerous clinical trials within multiple service lines such as cardiology, stroke, neurology, trauma, orthopedics, wound care, infectious diseases, neonatal, and nursing. She serves on the Education Committee for the International Association of Clinical Research Nurses (IACRN) and is an abstract reviewed for both IACR and the Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS). She has presented at the state, national and international levels. Prior to her current position, she served for twenty-one years in the United States Navy Nurse Corps.
