Susan Angel, MSN, APRN, is an experienced advanced practice registered nurse and clinical research leader with more than 20 years of expertise in psychiatric care, clinical operations, and Phase II–IV clinical trials. She currently serves as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Clinical Neuroscience Solutions, LLC, where she has held progressive leadership and clinical roles including Site Administrator, Clinical Director, Sub-Investigator, Expert Rater, and APRN.
Throughout her career, Susan has participated as a sub-investigator and rater in more than 300 clinical trials involving children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. Her clinical research experience spans a broad range of psychiatric, neurologic, medical, and general health conditions, including depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, PTSD, substance use disorders, migraine, obesity, diabetes, women’s health, vaccines, and other therapeutic areas.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University and her Master of Science in Nursing in Adult Health from the University of Florida. Susan is licensed in Florida as an Autonomous Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and a Multistate Registered Nurse. She has also served as adjunct clinical faculty and preceptor for nursing and advanced practice nursing students at institutions including Walden University, the University of Florida, Florida Community College of Jacksonville, the University of North Florida, and Jacksonville University.
In addition to her clinical and research leadership, Susan has contributed to professional organizations, publications, presentations, and community service initiatives. Her career reflects a long-standing commitment to clinical excellence, research integrity, education, and compassionate, patient-centered care.
