Suzanne has held senior leadership roles in clinical research and regulatory affairs. At Vaccine Solutions and later QIMR Berghofer, she managed ethics committees and investigator-initiated trials in oncology and infectious diseases, including malaria challenge studies. As Chief Scientific Officer and Operations Manager at Q-Pharm Pty Ltd, she led Phase I trials and oversaw 29 vaccine studies over 13 years, including GMO and vaccine interaction research.
She later spent nine years at Gallipoli Medical Research–Clinical Trial Unit, expanding its capacity to deliver complex Phase I–III trials, including cell therapies. Her work supported drug registrations and device patents. Suzanne actively promotes STEM careers and clinical trial awareness through ongoing fellowships, committee roles, and academic engagement.
