William Jones is the CEO and owner of Envoy Clinical Research, LLC, a growing clinical research site network based in Texas. Envoy is dedicated to bridging gaps in trust and fostering stronger partnerships between clinical research and the communities it serves—particularly in increasing community participation in clinical trials.
With a career rooted in both operational leadership and frontline clinical experience, William brings a deep, systems-level understanding of the research landscape. Prior to founding Envoy, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Epic Medical Research, and previously held executive roles at Helios Clinical Research and Ventavia Research Group. During his tenure at Ventavia, William led key operational and compliance reforms that significantly strengthened the organization’s research integrity and processes.
His earlier roles as a Clinical Research Educator, Senior Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC), and Quality Data Manager supported research initiatives across multiple healthcare systems in Texas, including the Children’s Health System of Texas (formerly Children’s Medical Center of Dallas), UT Southwestern, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, and Parkland Memorial Hospital. These collaborations reflect his longstanding commitment to improving access to high-quality clinical research within diverse and underserved communities.
William completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University–Commerce, and completed graduate studies in Allied Health Services Research (Epidemiology) at Texas State University.
Outside of work, William enjoys spending time with his wife, volunteering at weekend community clinics, serving at his church, or teaching classes centered around clinical research.
